Mason went for his first veterinarian's visit earlier this week. After shoveling his fecal sample into a little tube...
ick, yuck, yuck... they called us with his results. He has
coccidia... the same intestinal/stomach disease Skye had as a puppy. Nothing a few pills can't cure. Skye was diagnosed with it at 6 weeks, and showed all of the signs and symptoms (lack of energy, loss of appetite, inability to hold down fluids, brown watery diarrhea, etc.). Mason, on the other hand, has only had one symptom, the diarrhea. Possibly because he is older and stronger... who knows. At least he doesn't act like a sick puppy. He is on his daily dose of
Albon and hopefully will be better in no time.
