completed:

• painted walls and trim
• replaced vent covers and switch plates

one year plan:

• find perfect table
• find rug/runner
• replace lighting
• paint/re-stain railing
• design/sew window treatment

three year plan:

• replace front door
• replace hardwood floors (at the same time as the entire first level to keep it consistent)
• replace windows (along with the rest of the house)

and, if we decide to stay in this house for an extended period of time...

ten year plan:

• refinish railing
• remove carpet from stairs and replace with wood risers and treads
