Springing Forward

I am loving the time change and the WONDERFUL extra hour of light! It is great to come home and see the boys play outside and enjoy themselves. It is making our evening much more relaxing because they are burning off their energy outside rather than in the middle of the living room floor. The 70 degree temperatures are just icing on the cake today! Here's to springing forward!

I started my day with pancakes topped with blueberry butter. Very scrumptious! I can't believe that exactly a week ago, it was snowing with temperatures in the 20's... today, it will be sunny in the 70's. What a nice change in the right direction! Hope everyone enjoys the extra hour of light this evening!

Blonde Joke Du Jour

A painting contractor was speaking with a woman about her job. In the first room she said she would like a pale blue. The contractor wrote this down and went to the window, opened it, and yelled out "GREEN SIDE UP!" In the second room she told the painter she would like it painted in a soft yellow. He wrote this on his pad, walked to the window, opened it, and yelled "GREEN SIDE UP!" The lady was somewhat curious but she said nothing. In the third room she said she would like it painted a warm rose color. The painter wrote this down, walked to the window, opened it and yelled "GREEN SIDE UP!"

The lady then asked him, "Why do you keep yelling 'green side up'?" "I'm sorry," came the reply. "But I have a crew of blonde's laying sod across the street.
