My Mason turned one today! He has just been a bundle of joy since we brought him home. We have loved watching him grow [and grow, and grow, and grow] into such a loving, sweet, cuddly boy. He is everything a Golden Retriever should be... loyal, obedient, and fun loving. This boy has earned many nicknames in just one short year, including Ma-Ma-Mason, Boo-Boo, The Beast, Bubbalicious, Mahamba Jamba, Golden Boy, and just for today... Birthday Boy! I love when he rests his head on my lap looking pitiful for a head rub, when he rolls on his back in the grass making happy grunting noises, when he falls fast asleep on the air vents, when he rotates his head from side to side with curiosity, and when he wakes me up with a kiss on the cheek. This compilation of photos was very difficult to choose from the 1200+ saved on this computer, but here is a brief overview of his first year of life...
