the family room

completed:

• painted walls
• replaced vent covers and switch plates
• sofa, television, and table selections
• hang floating shelves on either side of fireplace (completed 01.02.2010 - full post)
  
• replace black shelves with new floating shelves (completed 01.02.2010 - full post)
• replace wood burning stove with gas logs

one year plan:

• select accessories
• replace light/fan
• design/sew window treatments

three year plan:

• replace hardwood floors (at the same time as the entire first level to keep it consistent)
• paint trim/beams

and, if we decide to stay in this house for an extended period of time...

ten year plan:

• no ideas at this time
