in bloom

Is this Fall or Spring? My flowers are probably prettier right now than they were in the Spring
of this year, so I grabbed my camera and began experimenting with the lenses and the lighting.
I know my neighbors think I am a crazy woman, always in the front yard or backyard laying on
the ground with my camera, but they should be used to it because I have been doing it for
years. I can't remember the last time I took a photo standing straight up. I am either
laying, sitting, kneeling, or bending down at the waist. It was nice to photograph something
other than Will and the dogs and enjoy some quiet time!

And, while we are speaking of flowers, here are a few from my momma's yard in North Carolina...
